Hanwha Vision has introduced its new PTZ cameras designed for use in extreme conditions.

The cameras are available in three different models: 2MP, 4MP, and 8MP, and are available in two color options. 500m infrared illumination, IP66 and IP68 housings, wind resistance of 257km/h (160 mph), an operating temperature range of -50°C to +60°C, and the ability to operate at relative humidity between 0 and 100% RH demonstrate the cameras' performance in challenging conditions.

The cameras are available in the following formats and features:

  1. 2MP 55X Optical Zoom Model (Black or White)
  2. 4MP 30X Optical Zoom Model (Black or White)
  3. 8MP 30X Optical Zoom Model (Black or White)

Artificial intelligence-powered object detection and classification are some of the camera's analytical functions. Slip and fall detection are standard. Person, face, vehicle, and license plate detection are the camera's standard functions.

For individuals, AI classification is performed based on the following criteria:

  • Upper/Lower Clothing Color, Gender, Bag

For vehicles, AI classification is performed based on the following criteria:

  • Type (car, bus, truck, motorcycle, bicycle), Color

For faces, AI classification is performed based on the following criteria:

  • Age, Gender, Face Mask, and Glasses

Object detection, Virtual Line (Passing/Direction), Motion detection, Slip and Fall detection, Virtual Area (Loitering/Intrusion/Exit/Appearance/Disappearance), and Automatic Tracking are other analyses the camera can perform.

Device certification (Hanwha Vision Root CA) and Secure Storage (Secure element with FIPS 140-3 level 3/CC EAL6+ certified) are some of the cybersecurity measures implemented by SBOM cameras.
