SBV-253WCW1, Weather Cap

The SBV-253WCW1 is a weather cap designed for use with the PNM-A13022RV, PNM-C9022RV and PNM-9031RV multi-directional cameras. Made of white polycarbonate, it shields the top of the camera housing from rain, snow and direct sun exposure. It is commonly fitted on facade entrances, parking structure poles and outdoor multi-sensor camera installations.

Multi-directional cameras of this type are typically mounted at height in open areas, where they remain exposed to weather for years. The cap sits over the camera body to reduce heat build-up and water pooling on the top surface, helping protect the internal electronics and lens assembly over the long term.

• White polycarbonate housing: UV-resistant material reduces yellowing and cracking risk after long-term outdoor exposure.
• 248 x 107.8 x 175.2 mm dimensions: Purpose-built to match the housing profile of the PNM-A13022RV, PNM-C9022RV and PNM-9031RV, with no extra fitting required.
• 200 g lightweight build: Adds negligible load to the mounting point and works with existing brackets and pole mounts.
• Multi-directional camera specific design: Covers the top surface only, without blocking the multi-sensor viewing angles.

It is used at warehouse entrances, mall parking access points, factory perimeter lines and residential site gates wherever PNM-series multi-directional cameras are installed outdoors. The cap can also be ordered as a standalone replacement part if the original cover is damaged.
