The SECL-IR850-POE-S is a PoE-powered infra-red illuminator designed to extend the night vision reach of IP cameras. It fits scenarios where a camera's built-in IR simply isn't enough — a warehouse entry gate, a parking lot approach, a perimeter fence line, or a dark loading dock. Because it draws power over the same network cable as the camera, there's no separate mains run to install, which keeps cabling costs down.

Operating at 850nm, the unit uses interchangeable diffuser lenses to switch between beam angles and distances with a single housing, so you don't need to stock a different model for every layout.

Key Features

• Interchangeable diffuser lens: In the 10° circular setting it reaches up to 101m, ideal for lighting up a long warehouse access road or ramp from one point. Swap to the 95° elliptical lens and it covers a wide 35m field at 16m — enough to blanket an entire loading yard with a single unit.
• IEEE802.af compliant PoE: Draws 12W through the same switch port as the camera, no separate 220V run needed. This speeds up installs in facilities where cable routing is already tight.
• CleanLITE® self-cleaning front window: The vandal-resistant polycarbonate IR filter has a coating that resists dirt buildup, cutting down on maintenance visits in dusty production areas or open-air parking lots.
• IP66 rated: Handles rain, dust and high humidity without issue, making it suitable for exposed pole-mounted installs on perimeter security lines.
• -50°C to +50°C operating range: Keeps working outside a cold storage facility or in high-heat outdoor sites without losing performance.
• Adjustable photocell (20-70 Lux) and dimmable output (10%-100%): Sunset trigger point and light output can both be tuned on site, preventing false triggering at entrances affected by neighbouring building lights.
• 5-year warranty and 850nm semi-covert output: Only a faint red glow is visible during operation rather than a bright red flare — useful for corporate sites where low visual profile matters.
