The SHD-1408FPW is a mount housing designed to install compatible Hanwha Wisenet camera models, such as the QNV-6012R, flush inside a suspended ceiling. It suits retail stores, offices, bank branches, or hotel lobbies where a clean ceiling appearance matters and the camera shouldn't protrude below the surface.

• Aluminum and polycarbonate housing: The aluminum frame delivers mechanical strength while the polycarbonate parts keep the unit lightweight, giving a solid mounting point without adding excess load to the ceiling.
• 5-70 mm tile thickness range: The same housing fits drywall, suspended ceiling tiles, or thicker ceiling panels, so installers don't need to stock separate brackets for each ceiling type on site.
• 19.1 mm (3/4") and 12.7 mm (1/2") conduit holes: Two conduit sizes let the cabling connect directly to existing conduit runs without hunting for extra adapters in the field.
• RAL9003 white finish: Matches standard white ceiling tones, so the housing blends in once mounted rather than standing out.
• QR installation guide support: A QR code on the housing gives technicians instant access to installation steps, removing the need to carry a printed manual on site.

At ø209x115 mm and 1020 g, this housing is built for indoor suspended-ceiling installations; it is not intended for outdoor or high-humidity areas. It works well for camera points above checkout counters or between aisles in retail chains, office corridors, and hotel lobbies where ceiling aesthetics need to stay intact.
