The TNO-C4042T is a VGA-resolution thermal camera with a 13mm tele lens, built for perimeter security over long distances. It suits ports, border lines, power plant perimeters, large warehouse yards and industrial zones where regular cameras fall short. Instead of relying on visible light, it detects heat signatures, giving reliable coverage in total darkness, fog and dust.

The camera uses a 640x480 uncooled microbolometer sensor with an 8~14㎛ spectral range and ≤16mK NETD, resolving heat differences even in low-contrast scenes. Running on the Wisenet 8 SoC, its AI engine classifies person, vehicle and vessel objects — filtering out false alarms from foliage or small animals and flagging real threats instead.

• Long-range coverage with 13mm tele lens: Vehicle detection reaches up to 153 m and vessel detection up to 366 m in wide mode. Under Johnson's criteria, vehicle detection extends to 1,074 m and person detection to 420 m — enough to cover a dock line or a long fence run with a single camera.
• AI-based classification: Virtual line crossing, area intrusion and loitering analytics distinguish person, vehicle and vessel, so a forklift crossing a cargo yard won't trigger an alarm while a person approaching a border fence will.
• -40°C to +60°C operating range: Runs reliably outside a cold storage facility or at a desert-climate power site, and is rated up to +74°C under NEMA-TS 2 test conditions.
• IP66/IP67 and IK10 housing: Withstands rain, dust and high-pressure water jets, with IK10 impact resistance for exposed outdoor installations prone to vandalism.
• MIL-STD-810H and NEMA 4X certified: Meets the ruggedness bar required for border security, port and energy infrastructure tenders.
• Motorized pan/tilt/rotate: 0°~350° pan and 0°~90° tilt allow fine-tuning after mounting without extra brackets.

The USB Type-C port is for preview and installation only and requires a WiFi dongle; live viewing and recording run over PoE (IEEE802.3af) or 12VDC with a standard network setup. Local recording is supported via a microSD card up to 1TB, with NAS integration also available.
