SPI-BBN0 is a blue LED illumination module built for the TNS-7000M license plate recognition (BCR) camera. Plate recognition cameras achieve the highest accuracy under a specific wavelength rather than plain visible light, and this module emits light at 455nm to boost the camera's plate reading performance. Its typical deployment points are parking barrier entries, vehicle gates at logistics facilities, and plate-based access control at factory or site entrances.

The module is sold as a standalone accessory and works with both SLM-5M16 and SLM-5M25 lenses, so it fits TNS-7000M installations using either 16mm or 25mm lens configurations.

• 16 LEDs at 455nm wavelength: The tuned blue light reduces reflection off the plate surface, keeping plate characters readable at night without blur. In a logistics warehouse, this means trucks entering on a night shift still get a clean plate capture.
• 17° / 32° illumination angle: The narrow FWHM beam concentrates light directly on the plate line, cutting down on glare caused by scattered lighting. This focused beam is useful at tight barrier entry points right in front of a parking gate.
• IP66/IP67 rated protection: Once assembled with the camera and front cover, it withstands dust and high-pressure water, so outdoor barrier columns exposed to rain or dusty air need no extra housing.
• -40°C to +55°C operating range: Keeps performing without loss in frozen parking entrances during winter or standby factory gates under summer heat.
• 24 VDC ± 10% input, 18W consumption: Low power draw allows integration into the existing camera power line without extra load, simplifying power planning during installation.
• 200g, compact housing (101.2 x 53.8 x 78.2 mm): Mounts on the existing TNS-7000M bracket point without adding weight stress to the camera mount.
