SPI-BRN0 is a red LED illumination module designed for TNS-7000M license plate recognition (ANPR/BCR) cameras. It works with SLM-5M16 and SLM-5M25 lenses and is used at parking entrances, toll gates, warehouse gates and site access points where nighttime plate reading accuracy matters. It illuminates the plate surface adequately without creating visible light pollution that could disturb drivers.

• 16 red LEDs at 617nm reduce glare reflection off the plate surface, making it easier for recognition software to read characters; unlike white flash, it stays unobtrusive to drivers passing through the gate.
• A 17° FWHM / 32° at 10% beam angle focuses light narrowly on single-lane entry and exit points, avoiding unnecessary spill onto adjacent lanes.
• When assembled with the camera and front cover, it reaches IP66/IP67 protection, eliminating water or moisture ingress risk in open parking entrances exposed to rain, snow or dust.
• An operating range of -40°C to +55°C keeps it running reliably in both freezing winters and hot summers, suiting logistics yards that face year-round extremes.
• 24 VDC ± 10% input and 18W power draw allow integration into the existing camera power line without extra power supply planning.
• Compact 101.2 x 53.8 x 78.2 mm body weighing 200g mounts directly onto the TNS-7000M camera point without requiring an additional enclosure.
