The SPI-BRW0 is a red LED illuminator module designed for the TNS-7000M license plate recognition (BCR) camera paired with the SLM-5M06 lens. It provides supplemental night-time lighting so that vehicle plates remain sharp and legible at highway toll booths, logistics warehouse gates, fuel stations, and gated community car parks. As a separate hardware add-on that works alongside the camera, it can be retrofitted onto existing TNS-7000M installations.

• 617 nm red LED wavelength: The red spectrum favored in plate-recognition cameras boosts contrast on plate characters, keeping a truck's plate readable at night regardless of vehicle speed.
• 16 LEDs for wide, even coverage: Instead of a single light source, 16 LEDs working together illuminate the full width of the lane in front of a toll booth, so vehicles passing near the edge are not left in shadow.
• 60° / 88° beam angle (FWHM / 10%): A narrow-to-medium beam directs light precisely toward the plate position, reducing stray light spill at fixed-distance points such as warehouse barrier gates.
• 6.9 W power consumption: Low energy draw means it integrates into an existing 24 VDC camera line at an entry point without adding meaningful load.
• IP66/IP67 rated (when assembled with camera and front cover): Withstands rain, dust, and high-pressure water jets, so open-air car parks and exterior toll booths need no extra enclosure.
• -40°C to +55°C operating range: Performs reliably at toll points that freeze in winter or car park entrances exposed to direct summer sun.

This module is built for locations where plate recognition must run around the clock: warehouse gates where logistics operators log vehicle entries and exits, factory loading docks, paid car park barriers, and residential or mall parking entrances. Natural daylight is often sufficient during the day, but once plate-reading accuracy drops after dark, the SPI-BRW0 keeps character recognition rates consistent.

Before installation, confirm compatibility with the TNS-7000M and SLM-5M06, since the IP66/IP67 rating only applies once the module is assembled together with the camera and front cover.
