The SPI-BRM0 is a red LED illumination module designed to work with the TNS-7000M license plate recognition (BCR) camera and the SLM-5M12 lens. It is built for vehicle checkpoints at logistics gates, parking barriers, and site entrances where the plate camera needs reliable illumination after dark. When assembled together with the camera and front cover, the module reaches IP66/IP67 protection, so it keeps working through rain, dust, and high-pressure water exposure in outdoor installations.

• 16 red LEDs at 617nm reduce plate surface glare, keeping characters sharp even when vehicles pass through the checkpoint at speed.
• A beam spread of 25° (FWHM) and 46° (10%) evenly lights the plate across a single-lane gate, avoiding dark edges at the sides of the frame.
• IP66/IP67 rating (when assembled with camera and front cover) means the unit holds up at open parking lots or uncovered loading dock entrances exposed to rain and dust.
• Operating range of -40°C to +55°C keeps performance stable both in harsh winter conditions and under direct summer sun on exterior mounts.
• 24 VDC ±10% input and 6.9 W power draw let it integrate into the existing camera power line without adding significant load.
• At 200 g and 101.2 x 53.8 x 78.2 mm, it mounts directly onto the TNS-7000M housing with no extra hardware needed.
